10 Common Delusions of Atheists/Agnostics |
|
1. I am a person, but God isn't. The atheist has said to themselves: "I can be a person, but God can't" A body made of fluids, solids, and wired electrical impulses can amount to personhood, but higher forms of personhood are (naturally) impossible. Atheism must deny every hint of the supernatural, or it collapses. As such, atheism is the apex of contrarian materialism. Not seeing God personally, they assert he does not exist at all and no one else can find what does not exist. The true atheist is required to believe the universe is built upon innumerable hierarchal laws. -But no one has made much progress in explaining the origin of law. Atheists are required to believe that Earth is merely "lucky" -to a mathematically impossible extent. Most "pure atheists" won't personally witness evidence that directly supports Darwinism. This is no different than selecting the god or non-god of your personal choice and ignoring exceptions and dilemmas. Some agnostics point out that God may be some kind of lucky cosmic force out there. However, as a matter of observable law: All things descend from something like themselves. Very basically, our own standard of existence applies equally well towards God: "I Think. Therefore I Am." 2. Given enough time, anything can happen. Did you know that nothing is random? Computers know nothing about randomness. They must be coaxed into generating pseudo-random numbers by algorithms that use non-random numbers. Yet this remains the most popular piece of science fiction from Darwin's ponderings. This very same notion was used by early evolutionists to suggest that: Sealed containers of garbage, given the time, would produce maggots and rats. Darwin’s early scientific supporter Julian T.H. Huxley made the statement that "six monkeys typing for millions of years, would eventually type every book in the British Museum". This has proven false. In fact, all the monkeys that have ever lived strumming away for millions of years would perform a mathematical miracle if they produced even one line of any book in the British Museum. This misconception mingled with massively corrupt church authority actually gave birth to Darwinism. Nevertheless, we know in our day that randomly generating coherent strings of language is mathematically impossible. The passage of long periods of time are a rationalization unsupported by statistics. Forever isn't enough time to become as fortunate as the inhabitants of the Earth. Logarithms and computer simulations quietly debunked the theory evolution decades ago. 3. Who created God? This is one of the mind bending questions we probably first asked when we were children. If God truly exists, who created him? (This is information theory.) Lacking any exploration, many conclude: "Our universe is God." Moses asked God: "Who shall I say sent me?" To which he receives the reply: "I AM THAT I EXIST". God = The (only) Self Existent One. Our entire universe is made up of tiny hierarchal building blocks. None are independent. Even time and space seem to be somewhat flexible elements. As we create a canvas, God created time and space. The simple answer to the "who created God" question is this: "God created creating." 4. Spirits do not Exist. One glaring exception certain people took with Darwin was the nagging question of mischievous spirits. More than just superstition, there was a genuine awareness that in certain cases, invisible agents do seem to be bringing about frightening and astonishing events. Events that both orthodox scientists and orthodox religionists would prefer to ignore. There is in fact no religion, from any region of the globe that fails to believe in evil spirits of some variety. Oral tradition is one thing, but could something so universally held by humanity be 100% myth? We suggest otherwise. Stories of utter lies aren't as captivating or enduring to the human imagination. True, many people thought the world was flat, but this was because the Earth looks flat. Planet Earth features a "flat" optical illusion. People believe in what they see. Above all else. Suggesting again, that the greatest misconceptions about our reality are based on some percentage of the truth. If even 1% of the historically documented, worldwide, or ongoing eyewitness accounts of the supernatural is true, universal naturalism is dead. Thanks to the internet, there is a huge database of 1st hand ghostly accounts. Many have been reported by people who did not believe in the supernatural. It is difficult to imagine that 100% of these stories are lies when you read a few. We can vouch for the fact that many events described there have been described to us privately, or reported by others with no knowledge, no interest, and no comfort with the subject of spirits. 5. If there was a loving God, no one would suffer. When something is suffering, we automatically become aware that this is "not fair". This is the Paradise Mindset. It causes us to always question: Why aren't things perfect? It is the motivation that drives civilization. The fossil record and Genesis agree very strongly on this point: Earth was at one time a giant garden overflowing with abundant and robust plant, animal, and insect life, but something went wrong. Now each of us is driven on an instinctive level to re-obtain paradise, emotionally and physically. We had a taste of this perfection under Gods terms, and rejected it. Now humanity is the primary caretaker of our own fate. It is not up to God to feed the hungry anymore. It is up to us. We could achieve it too, but our own greed and selfishness prevents it. Many forms of human suffering are directly rooted in the failure to love one another. Individually or collectively. The whole creation is suffering in varying degrees. Suffering due to a series of bad choices made by humanity and by angels. God is suffering too. Yet, willing to let history run the full course. He reserves the right to overrule and intervene at will. 6. There is no such thing as right and wrong. Firstly, we commend the anti-theist movement for conceding on this point publically. No one needs a holy book to sense that right and wrong, true and false, lawful and unlawful, are realities. For those who do hold this view, we challenge you to go the entire week without using the words: "right", "wrong", "good" or "bad". Many relationship conflicts are not a matter of "right or wrong" at all, they are a matter of perspective. On a deep level, humanity (and many kinds of animals) can identify what "wrong feels like" vs. "what right feels like". Humanity has a powerful inherent sense of moral truth. 7. Only the strong survive. "Survival of the fittest" remains surprisingly popular in spite of the evidence. Many weak and seemingly unfit creatures survive and thrive, while most powerful creatures have become extinct. If evolution to new better forms was a genuine process, we would expect the opposite to be true. "Survival of the fittest" is better said: "Survival of the most perfectly balanced." Many animals like raccoons and cows, are almost incapable of "evolving" with much variety. Adaptability is a feature that widely varies between species archetype. Evolution is usually cosmetic. Unlike raccoons, dogs can be bred into fantastic varieties by "intelligent" selection. So much so that some dogs become handicap. If the process was strictly "lucky natural" we would expect life to be much more weaponized. We would expect creatures to be much less co-dependently organized. We would expect much less focus on symmetry, beautification, and optical illusion. For humanity, adaptive variations apply most often in the areas of cosmetic bodily changes, ability, and persona. Frankly, many animals are not fit enough to survive even slight ecological changes. We are presently living in an era of mass extinctions and have a front row seat to the impossibly slow adaptability of all creatures with breath life. 8. Humanity is all-important. This is a popular delusion among religionists too. Many consider that personal suffering should be the most horrible tragedy in the universe, to God. While we plainly observe that life is hierarchal. Humanity out ranks the animals, but angels out rank humanity. The fate of all life is intertwined. All levels of life are struggling together, and against each other. "...all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away." -1 Peter 1:24 No one builds a garden around a single blade of grass. Humanity in general and women specifically are the crowning glory on physical creation. Yet, only one member in the family of God in Heaven and on Earth. A family at civil war motivated by primeval cosmic debates, greed, lust, misinformation, pride, corruption, entropy, escalating consequences, and the failure to love the truth. Humanity at our best is the: Divine Animal 9. Some races are more evolved. Popular as it is to blame religion for war, evolution was a driving factor in WWII. The idea is exactly what Adolph Hitler indoctrinated his people with. Anti-theists like to point out that Hitler incorporated Christian elements into the Nazi party sometimes. Hitler was actually writing a Nazi version of the Bible. Darwin and Huxley were openly racist and openly sexist. All the same, this thinking can be located in many religions. It is a grim reality that racism is a humanistic delusion which caters to human pride like no other. The facts are a different story. In the ancient world, most "white men" were living like barbarians in caves, while "brown men" were writing books and building the wonders of stone. Genetically, all humans are 99% identical which agrees with this: "And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation." -Acts 17:26 10. There is no proof of God. Proof is a relative thing. Evidence is often a matter of opinion. For some people, a single sentence can be proof. For others a bona fide miracle performed before their very eyes proves nothing. People are usually unsettled by anything that contradicts our own "pet" view of reality. -This is equally true of believers and nonbelievers. No one has ever seen a creature "evolve" into another creature. Likewise, no one has ever seen God create an animal "out of dust". However, nature is fundamentally based on life springing up quickly and seemingly out of no where. Life exists in the "invisible realm" and proceeds outward into the "visible realm". Natural science has once and for all provided us with this nucleolus of evidence: "Life is lawful. All life is dependent on other life."
The greatest
evidence for a Creator is not the miracles it's:
Information Theory, the
universe of
systems,
language, friendship, beauty, harmony, conciseness,
and love.
